FKG Civil is a Queensland based company employing over 50 civil construction staff and providing civil engineering works to a number of Tier 1 clients. Due to continued growth, we are seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates with experience supervising civil projects by overseeing a team of Labourers, Form-workers and Concreters.

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic civil construction professionals to join our dedicated team and play a significant role in shaping the outcome of projects. Joining FKG Civil will allow you to apply your consultative style in a hands-on and rewarding environment.

To be considered for this position you will ideally have a progressive history in civil construction over the last 10 years, and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Vocational qualifications in Civil Construction, Carpentry or similar
  • Blue/ White Card
  • Traffic Management certification and/ or experience
  • Experience in earthworks, roads, substations and/or concreting
  • An unwavering commitment to workplace health and safety and environmental management
  • A dedicated focus on teamwork
  • Day to day management of all related paperwork
  • Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and leadership skills 

Additionally, the following will be highly regarded:

  • Computer competencies in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Various Plant Operating tickets
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Health and Safety Officer Qualifications
