Civil Superintendents

FKG Civil is a division of the FK Gardner Group boasting over 30 years experience in the civil construction industry. The division operates throughout Queensland, with offices in Toowoomba, Roma, Brisbane, Mackay and Cairns. 

FKG Civil is a client focused organisation with a strong track record of successful delivery, both as independent contractors in delivering infrastructure and mining / energy / gas civil projects, as well as working alongside our construction  company on large industrial and commercial facilities.  Due to demand, opportunities exist for Civil Superintendents to join our major civil project.

Working on a 21/7 Roster -FIFO from Brisbane, Toowoomba or approved location.

To be considered for this position you will ideally have a progressive history in civil construction over the last 5-10 years, and be able to demonstrate the following:

  •  Previous experience in a similar role
  • Vocational qualifications in Civil Construction, Carpentry or similar
  • Blue/ White Card
  • Traffic Management certification and/ or experience
  • Experience in earthworks, roads, substations and/or concreting , Drainage
  • An unwavering commitment to workplace health and safety and environmental management
  • A dedicated focus on teamwork
  • Day to day management of all related paperwork
  • Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and leadership skills 

 Additionally, the following will be highly regarded:

  • Computer competencies in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Various  Plant Operating tickets
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Health and Safety Officer Qualifications
