Senior Civil Estimator - Mining

 

FKG Mining is a new division of the FK Gardner Group boasting over 30 years experience in the civil construction industry. The division operates throughout Queensland, with offices in Toowoomba, Roma, Brisbane, Mackay and Cairns.  FKG is client focused with a strong track record of successful delivery. We deliver civil infrastructure for the mining / energy / gas sectors, including through our Construction company, large industrial and commercial facilities. 

Our newest Division is expanding our diverse project portfolio in Queensland. We currently have vacancies for a Senior Civil Estimator in our Mining Business Unit.

The successful candidate will demonstrate: 

  • 8 to 10 years experience as a Civil Estimator in a similar environment
  • Experience in estimating civil works within the $20 - $50 million range
  • Knowledge of Expert Estimation software or a similar industry based package
  • Ability to manage and deliver tender submissions
  • Queensland market experience of suppliers, sub-contractors, materials, specifications and AS standards

Reporting to the Group Manager -Mining, you will enjoy working in a team environment with other civil and construction estimators. You will thrive on autonomy and responsibility. You will be highly motivated with the initiative and tenacity to achieve the Company's commercial goals.
