FKG Civil is a Queensland based company employing over 50 civil construction staff and providing civil engineering works to a number of Tier 1 clients. We invite applications from experienced professionals to join our Civil Department in the role of Site Engineer for remote projects throughout Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate to play a significant role in shaping the outcome of projects.  Joining FKG Civil will allow you to apply your consultative style in a hands-on and rewarding environment.

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

  • Completed your Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Be willing to travel to remote locations for roster work
  • Experience with Microsoft Project 2007 or similar project management software
  • Computer competencies in MS Word, Excel and Outlook are highly regarded 
  • Construction Blue/White Card
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • A background in civil earthworks, pavements and/ or structural concrete would be highly advantageous
  • An unwavering commitment to workplace health and safety at all times
  • Day to day management of all related paperwork
  • Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills 
  • Environmental awareness
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and a high level of attention to detail
