FKG Continues Success at Master Builders Awards     15 October 2011

Another year and another round of Queensland Master Builders Award's nights have been and gone.  For FK Gardner and Sons 2011 proved to be a successful year with wins in the majority of regions projects and people were entered.

This year's entries across the board were all of an extremely high standard and the quality of workman ship was evident in all projects that won.

For 2011 FK Gardner and Sons took out the following Awards:

Brisbane:

Apprentice of the Year - Joshua Pitt

Apprentice Employer of the Year

Downs and Western:

Rising Star Award - Heath Gniel

Civil Contractor of the Year - Pine Ridge and Pleasant Hill Dams

Sports and Community Service Facilities up to $4M - Queensland Fire and Rescue Service Station

Mackay and Whitsunday:

Women in Construction - Rynelle Hollis

FKG General Manager, Mr Nick Gardner expressed how impressed he was with the achievements that the company received.

"To be recognised by our industry peers for the projects we are producing and the team that we have working for us is always humbling, it is a demonstration that we are working to the high standards set by the industry" Mr Gardner said.

With the completion of many large scale construction and civil projects in various regions throughout 2011 FKG are already excited about entering next year's awards.
