Out West at the Surat Basin Conference 2011 12 September 2011
From the 7th to the 9th of October the Western Queensland town of Roma played host to a number of delegates from both Australian and International businesses for the 2011 Surat Basin Conference.
The conference, into its fourth year provides companies with an opportunity to network amongst other businesses involved in the energy sector. The conference program featured speakers from a variety of organisations communicating key issues and future activities in the region whilst the expo provided business representatives with an opportunity to mingle amongst one other.
FKG recognised what a great opportunity it was to take part in the event and participated in both the conference and trade exhibition, allowing the team to speak with prospective and current clients associated with works in the area.
All reports about the various speakers at the conference were nothing but positive with members from Origin Energy, Santos, Arrow Energy and QGC all speaking about the future of the Surat Region.
