The soil has now officially been turned on one of FK Gardner and Sons latest construction projects, the Siganto and Stacey Warehouse and Factory located in the industrial hub of Tennyson, Brisbane.
Siganto and Stacey are one of the largest mechanical services contractors for air - conditioning in Queensland and have been in the market for over 30 years servicing large corporate complexes through to residential properties.
The exciting development at Tennyson will provide a new location for the company's Head Office, currently positioned in the suburb of Yerongapilly, Brisbane.
The two buildings will house a warehouse and office to cater for their expanding staff and operational requirements. The factory will consist of 5200sqm of steel framing and concrete tilt panels with an internal mezzanine level. The office will feature two levels with a floor space of 1570sqm and both buildings featuring full amenities.
There was a strong turnout of both FKG and Siganto and Stacey staff to the event. Eight representatives from Siganto and Stacey were present including, Original Founder Bill Siganto and current Director Will Siganto as well as other Senior Managers.
FKG Construction Group Manager, Mr Wayne Rowe said "It has been rewarding working with the Siganto and Stacey team on this project; we are essentially assisting them with their business growth by taking on this project to upgrade their facilities".
Construction is due to be completed by early next year.
