The development of FKG Civil in 2007 as a entity in its own right serves to enhance FKG’s primary building operations which are both well known and well respected,  and now allows FKG the flexibility to provide a complete construction package to our client’s.

FKG’s Civil operations have in part already established themselves within the market place, and in time it will further enhance its reputation and find its own unique place in the civil construction market built off an ever expanding and independent workload.

FKG’s civil construction operations have a long history of quality project delivery, of forging close relationships with clients in project delivery and are considered to be a valuable alliance “partner” to many of our established clients in the delivery of their current and forward program of works. We are firmly focussed on working with our client to deliver outcomes that benefit all the relevant stakeholders.

FKG Civil is pre-qualified to undertake Queensland Main Roads projects at prequalification level R2 / B2 / F6, is a member of the Civil Contractors Federation (Qld). The civil operations engage several experienced key personnel and is self sufficient in the provision of plant and other essential construction resources to successfully complete most civil scope projects including:

Transport infrastructure (road and rail);

Bulk earthworks;

Bridge construction;

Drainage;

And concrete structures within the civil scope as a complimentary aspect of the companies core building works.

FKG has a long standing history of providing power infrastructure projects (substations) across Queensland and is now considered a valuable and specialist contractor in this field. We are also now developing a similar history delivering gas field infrastructure and with both scopes providing a forward workload out to at least 2010, the future for FKG Civil looks promising.
