We are seeking Apprentice Carpenters to join our construction team based out of Brisbane. Joining FKG provides you with the opportunity to develop and apply your carpentry and leadership skills, whilst gaining knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment. Reporting to and working closely with the Site Manager and/or Site Supervisor you will be hands-on, client-focused, safety orientated and a lateral thinker who has a positive can-do approach with the drive and ambition to be a future leader in the commercial construction industry.

To be successful, candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• A desire to build a career in the commercial construction industry;
• Ability and willingness to travel as required;
• Completed year 12 level of schooling (or has significant work experience);
• Current driver’s licence and own reliable transport;
• Good manual dexterity, mathematical and problem-solving skills;
• A Blue or White Card;
• Willingness to work away from home (with accommodation provided) as required;
• A sound level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Previous construction experience is advantageous.
