We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our “One FKG” team based out of Toowoomba. Joining FKG provides you with the opportunity to apply your vast experience and proactive management style in a challenging and rewarding environment. Reporting to and working closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager, the successful candidate will be hands-on, client-focused, safety orientated and a lateral thinker who has a positive can-do approach.

To be successful, candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Cert III in Carpentry;
• A Blue or White Card;
• Current drivers licence and own reliable transport;
• Demonstrated experience in the direction and supervision of apprentices and contractors, with the ability to lead and motivate a team;
• Takes a hands-on, practical approach to tasks, displaying refined carpentry skills and other multiple trade skills (ie. concrete, tiling, roofing);
• 1-2 years post-trade industry experience is advantageous; and
• An exceptional level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
