The Role

An opportunity exists for a Corporate Accountant to join our team. This role is well suited to a candidate early in their professional career. You will be based on-site in our newly renovated office facility located in Windsor, with access to our fully equipped gym and staff lunches.


Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and shared service management accounts
  • Assist with the compilation of the annual budgets
  • Analysis and interpretation of shared services monthly results and follow up on significant variances
  • Adhoc monthly invoicing, debtors’ reconciliation, collection, and cash flow reporting
  • Review and allocation of shared service expenditure
  • Collaboration with shared service management to facilitate accurate and efficient reporting of financial results
  • Ad hoc reporting as directed by the Finance Manager.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the below:

  • Current enrolment in or recent completion of tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years practical experience in a public practice or commercial accounting setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and budgets
  • Results driven with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in monitoring and reporting on cash flow, debtors and other financial indicators
  • A proactive team player
  • Previous experience in computerised accounting software such as Jobpac or MYOB is highly advantageous.
