We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Environmental and Safety Professionals with civil construction experience to join our “One FKG” team in full-time, office and DIDO/FIFO roles. The successful candidates will actively champion environment and safety related initiatives on FKG work sites, lead compliance across internal and external systems and provide advice and support to the project teams through the implementation of systems and processes to ensure an effective and positive EHS culture is achieved.

If you meet the following criteria, we would love to hear from you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environment and/or Safety
  • A minimum 5 years of experience working on Civil projects (roads or earthworks)
  • Proven competency in incident investigation and auditing
  • Comprehensive understanding of current Legislation, Codes of Practice & Standards
  • Proven ability to influence high-level environmental and safety performance at project level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
  • High degree of competency / comfort working with digital technologies
  • Ideally, proven experience working within Federal Safety Commission accredited systems
  • A current Blue or White Card, First Aid Certificate and CPR
  • Proven competency in incident investigation and auditing
  • Ideally, relevant technical or industry qualifications or certifications
