What are we looking for?

An exciting and unique opportunity currently exists in Anaman’s Brisbane city office for an energetic and enthusiastic HR & Training Administrator to join our team!  Reporting to and working alongside the wider Camps Human Resources team, this role will support and undertake the following activities:

  • Coordinating and monitoring training bookings, medical and client inductions;
  • Updating and maintain Training and Human Resources data bases;
  • Assisting with recruitment and selection activities such as updating position descriptions, interviewing, phone screening, reference checks;
  • Coordinating the onboarding and site mobilisation process including pre employment checks and medical screening;
  • Monitoring and responding to HR inbox whilst escalating where appropriate;
  • Supporting Apprenticeship and Traineeship Program/s;
  • Attending meetings and minute taking;
  • Providing general administrative support; and
  • Supporting HR team activities and projects, plus much more.

Who will you be?

This role provides the perfect opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated individual to build a career in a HR. Ideally, the successful candidate will be a vibrant and capable individual with the confidence to deliver outcomes across a broad range of training and HR activities, and will be able to demonstrate:

  • Prior experience in a HR or training environment;
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent administration skills with willingness to learn and be involved in diverse tasks;
  • The ability to plan and organise a busy workload while providing support to multiple stakeholders; and
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.

While tertiary or vocational qualifications in an HR or Training discipline will be considered favourably, the priority for this position is the demonstration of high level administration skills. This role will suit an individual that thrives in an environment where no two days are the same and that can work well under pressure to meet deadlines and create innovative strategies for the training function.
