We are currently seeking applications from dynamic, self-motivated and proactive individuals to take on the newly created role of Kitchen Coordinator/ Office Assistant in our Toowoomba office. This position will be responsible for coordinating the functions of the staff kitchen, including preparing our daily staff lunch service, undertaking standard kitchen duties and general cleaning tasks throughout the office.
Our Kitchen Coordinator superstar will be required to work between 10am and 2pm Monday to Thursday in a permanent part time capacity, with potential for additional hours or days to be added once the role develops further.
The key responsibilities for this position will include:
Hygiene will be of the highest importance for this role and it is expected that the Kitchen Coordinator will truly take ownership of the management of the kitchen area and ensure it is maintained in a clean and organised manner. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment would be highly regarded, though is not entirely essential. The successful candidate will be required to hold or obtain a current Food Handling and Hygiene certificate.
Our ideal candidate will have terrific organisational skills, a passion for presentation, cleanliness and hygiene, a friendly and welcoming personality and a proactive, can-do approach. The part time hours make this role perfect for those looking for a bit of flexibility or needing to fit in with ‘life’!
