The Role

An opportunity exists for a Project Manager to join our team. You will be based on-site working between our Townsville office and various project sites in the region. 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating all aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion;
  • The development and implementation of the project program;
  • Establishment and maintenance of an accurate cost control system including the project budget and forecasting;
  • Management of subcontractors and site personnel;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards; and
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and project teams ensuring any issues are resolved as they arise.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the below;

  • Relevant practical experience in delivering commercial construction projects between $10M – $60M;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a similar field;
  • Advanced level knowledge of the application of WHS regulations and practices as relevant to construction sites;
  • An exceptional level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
  • High level knowledge of construction contracts;
  • Well developed knowledge of the construction process and common challenges; and
  • Experience in managing customer relationships including developing and maintaining.
