We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Safety Advisor to help us build excellence and join our “One FKG” team, based within the North Coast NSW Region. In this exciting position, the individual will be self-motivated, reliable and have an open and honest approach to communication and will excel as they effectively lead safety on multiple project. Importantly, the Safety Advisor will build and maintain lasting professional employee, manager, and subcontractor relationships to ensure an effective safety culture is achieved.

To be successful, the candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Vocational or Tertiary qualifications in Safety (minimum Cert IV);
• 3+ years of practical experience directly involved in safety management on commercial construction projects;
• Extensive experience and knowledge of workplace health and safety and industrial relations regulations and practices applicable to construction sites;
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• An exceptional level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong grasp of construction methodologies specifically relating to structures, formwork and working at heights; and
• Ability to understand and interpret drawings and design documentation.
