03rd November 2017

In 2014 the FKG Group were engaged by the Department of Education, Training and Employment to complete Stage 1 of the Highfields State Secondary College, valued at $26.5 million. Stage 1 was an award-winning project at the 2015 Master Builders Awards, receiving recognition for the Best Education Facility over $5M within the Downs and Western Region.

In October this year, the FKG Group team completed Stage 3A of the project. This involved the construction of a new six-classroom GLA building with a floor area of 850m², valued at $2 million. The client is extremely happy with the high-quality infrastructure that was delivered four weeks ahead of schedule.

The FKG Group have now been awarded Stage 3B of the project which is set to commence this month. This involves the design and construction of a new two-storey GLA classroom building valued at $4 million and expected to be completed mid to late next year.
