ENDING THE MASTER BUILDERS QUEENSLAND REGIONAL AWARDS ON A HIGH NOTE

The Far North Queensland team recently attended the Master Builders Queensland Housing and Construction Awards evening for the region, and proudly accepted not one, but two awards for their Cairns Performing Arts Centre project!
The team took out the winning trophy in the category for ‘Commercial Building over $50 Million’ and were even more excited to receive the coveted ‘Project of the Year’ award, for their work on the meticulously designed and constructed performing arts centre.
The FKG Group’s Area Manager for Cairns, Daniel Suchanek, said he was very pleased to see the project acknowledged after years of hard work.
“Our team spent two and a half years working on this incredible project. Based off the detailed designs, the precise construction, and the selection of superior quality materials – we were hopeful that it would be an award winning project, and we are absolutely thrilled to receive two awards. Our team, subcontractors, and the client should be proud of their contribution to this fantastic building that is sure to be loved by the local Cairns Community,” said Daniel.
With a total of nine wins under their belt from the 2019 regional awards, the team are looking forward to attending the Master Builders Queensland State Awards in November, and have their fingers crossed for a few more wins!
