Office Move Boosts Townsville Presence

22nd July 2019

The FKG Group has grown its presence in Townsville, recently opening a new and larger office to better serve the company’s increasing clientele in North Queensland.

The move to Unit 2, 508-510 Woolcock St, Garbutt has given the company room for not only increased staff, but also extra storage area.

FKG Group’s North Queensland Operations Manager, Brad Gardner said the new office could fit up to 14 staff and it likely would need the extra space.

“We are expecting to grow in the next six to eight months, after winning a major project for Defence,” he said.

“In addition, we’re working on other tenders, not only for Defence but also some commercial and educational projects.”

The Townsville office has kept busy in recent months, working on various projects including Pimlico State High School and Townsville Grammar School’s North Shore campus, along with the Townsville Courthouse.

With FKG Group putting priority on employing local workers, subcontractors and suppliers, the expansion should provide a boost for the region too.

“Townsville is a major growth area – it has the potential to deliver increasing work for FKG Group and we’re delighted to share these opportunities with the local community,” Brad said.
