Picnic Creek State School Officially Opens

Last month, the FKG Group’s Picnic Creek State School project was officially opened by Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk MP and Education Minister Grace Grace MP at a ceremony attended by Barry Smith (Operations Manager, Construction) and Jan Kruger (Senior Project Manager, Construction) as well as the school’s community of staff, students and parents.
During the ceremony, Jan was presented with a ‘staff’ polo shirt in recognition of his dedication to delivering the successful project which included carparks, infrastructure facilities, a special education unit, multi-purpose hall, teaching facilities and the school oval.
Jan said it was a great honour to work on the project and bring the vision to life. “The team were thrilled to be a part of this project, and really enjoyed seeing it develop from initial plans through to the completion. This school is sure to provide a vibrant and functional environment for the students for many years to come.”
