The FKG Group celebrates long serving staff with annual garden party

8th March 2019

With a strong family culture and focus on staff recognition, last month the FKG Group celebrated 65 members of their loyal staff with a garden party at the home of FKG Group’s Executive Chairman, Gary Gardner, and his wife Melissa.

As a token of the Gardner family’s appreciation for their years of service, staff along with their partners, gathered in Toowoomba to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, speeches, canapes and commemorative gifts, amongst their other long serving colleagues.

FKG Group Managing Director Nick Gardner, said it was important to acknowledge long serving staff. “We have been holding this event for a couple years and feel it’s a great opportunity to show how much we all appreciate our hard-working staff, who have really become like family during their time with our company.”

“Great people form the foundation of successful companies, and we want to continue to remind our staff just how valued they are and thank them for the impact they’ve made at the FKG Group over the past 10, 15 or 20 plus years,” Nick said.

Following a great night filled with memories and laughter, the team are already looking forward to next year’s event and welcoming ‘new’ long serving staff to the event.
