The FKG Group was engaged by the Department of Education, Training and Employment to construct a new building for the Cairns State High School. The building is comprised of nine learning areas, two flexible learning areas, one collaborative learning area and three project development areas as well as staff facilities and amenities. Also included was the installation of water, drainage, power, data, and phone services and electronic security, evacuation, and fire appliances alarms. Associated landscaping works involved turfing and planting and the construction of garden beds, fencing and gates.
