The FKG Group was contracted by the Central Highlands Regional Council to refurbish and upgrade the existing Emerald Aquatic Centre. This involved the construction of a new 50m Olympic swimming pool, with a Learn to Swim (LTS) pool and enclosure, a splash-pad water play park and associated plant and club rooms. The project scope included removal of the existing pool with works staged to allow the client to take possession and operate the LTS pool as a separable portion.
