The FKG Group was engaged by Madad Investments to construct a 5,400m2 warehouse at an existing industrial site in Wacol, Queensland. Works undertaken included construction of a new workshop and office building, installation of a 10 tonne and 5 tonne gantry crane, external hardstands, ancillary buildings, car parks associated with the warehouse (including pump room, fire tank and wash bay) and sewer and storm water drainage installation.
The site was located within an operational industrial estate which experienced high traffic and made site accessibility a challenge. Through detailed programming and extensive subcontractor consultation, disruption to the site was mitigated.
