ICT Support Officer

The opportunity

Our ICT team currently supports a broad range of services across the FKG Group’s extensive portfolio of businesses, however as we continue to scale into supporting both internal and external clients we will be seeking an experienced ICT Support Officer. This role will manage and support our existing IT systems and help clients keep connected and productive.  Suited to an individual who enjoys variety, ownership, working closely with in non- technical teams all within a fast paced/ evolving environment.

The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure and have a positive can-do attitude with the technical know-how to assist and maintain our ever-growing applications and services.

The role will work within our helpdesk system,  supporting and troubleshooting a range of technologies, and providing general assistance to senior IT team members to complete exciting technology projects and business-as-usual activities.

About you:

To be successful, candidate will possess or be able to demonstrate:

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide technical support to laymen users in-person and remotely.

• Passion for technology with the desire to learn about a range of hardware and software, you will learn how to deploy hardware and software and help manage our growing application suite.

• The ability to support through technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, organisational skills, and professionalism.

• 2 + years experience in an IT Support / Helpdesk / IT Officer role
• MSP experience is advantageous

• The ability to be a fast learner, with the desire to learn from Network, Infrastructure, and Application Developers to gain a broad understanding of the technology stack.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise activities and resources on multiple tasks and projects working in parallel.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to Office 365 is preferable.

Tertiary or vocational qualifications in IT would be highly regarded, though they are not essential.
