This experience continues to reinforce the importance of building strong stakeholder relationships and building partnerships with our clients, offering them innovative and practical solutions.

Dave leads a dedicated team of professionals and provides the strategic direction in developing and implementing the Construction teams’ business plan.

With a highly developed business acumen and thorough understanding of construction techniques, Dave is passionate about instilling a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the FKG Construction division.

With more than 30 years industry experience, Barry has delivered across the full gamut of industry sectors and contract forms, culminating in the successful delivery of numerous award-winning landmark projects throughout Queensland, Australia, and Internationally.

With a strong affinity to the education and community facilities sectors, Barry respects the unique construction challenges these projects face and leads his project teams to ensure these complex projects are within program, on budget, and in line with stringent specifications.

A key mentor for method and program challenges, Barry ensures his delivery teams remain focussed on achieving project outcomes through best-practice client engagement, stakeholder relations, and critical thinking.

For more than 20 years Ben has been a fixture in North and Far North Queensland project delivery. Since 2019, Ben has led our North Queensland construction operations delivering critical infrastructure in the health, Defence, education and community facilities sectors.

A Townsville local, Ben is passionate about North Queensland and the benefits the construction industry provides to regional communities through improved social infrastructure as well as employment and commercial opportunities for our industry partners.

This focus ensures our North Queensland delivery teams are committed to maximising local engagement, training, and Indigenous procurement opportunities on all our projects in the region.

With nearly two decades of construction industry experience to draw from, Christian leads his project teams with demonstrated commitment to exemplar stakeholder engagement, program and budget management, and strict adherence to our HSEQ systems and procedures.

A long-term FKG Group employee, Christian has grown with the company to deliver some of our most complex projects. He harnesses this experience to motivate his project teams with proven strategies to ensure buy-in under the most arduous site conditions.

Technically astute, he encourages his team leaders to look for construction innovation at every opportunity and thrives in formulating solutions to unique and complex project challenges.

Trent’s active involvement overseeing the delivery of our construction projects in NSW since 2019 is testament to his ability to drive his teams to deliver design and construction excellence.

With a career spanning more than two decades, Trent has worked both sides of the industry including construction roles as a Project Manager and Contract Administrator as well as a client’s side Project Manager.

This well-rounded experience provides Trent with the full understanding of the intricacies of construction work in NSW, from managing the tender process, authority requirements, and head contract administration through to full design and construction across all formats of project delivery.

Kevin is a bona fide construction professional, with more than 30 years of experience managing building projects of all sizes across a broad range of sectors including Defence, transport, residential and government facilities.

Kevin’s proven track record of embracing new work methodologies to achieve cost time benefits flows through to his project teams, where his analysis of buildability and construction procedures regularly leads to efficiencies in delivery and better outcomes for clients.

Having delivered projects extensively throughout Queensland, Kevin appreciates the nuances of construction works in regional areas and instils in his teams the commensurate desire to leave a positive legacy in the communities we operate.

The FKG Group’s Construction business unit embraces a generative safety culture which underpins our project delivery strategy. Since joining the team in 2015, Alan has been instrumental in driving safety innovation and cultural change, setting new benchmarks in safety performance with our construction team enjoying one of the lowest Lost Time Injury rates in the industry.

Alan is enthusiastic in the adoption of new technologies that reduce heavy administrative tasks, ensuring his Safety Advisors have the capacity to actively monitor safety performance on site.

His comprehensive knowledge of State and Commonwealth Safety Legislation also ensures our projects are across all applicable safety regulations and obligations through regular training, information sessions, and safety audits.

Drawing on more than 20 years design management experience, Eugen leads our dedicated in-house design team to ensure all designs comply with the brief, are fit for purpose, and add value through innovation and creativity.

A qualified architect, Eugen maintains awareness of design trends with a focus on safety, sustainability and digital engineering, ensuring the team takes a holistic design approach to deliver the most effective design solution for our clients.

A long term FKG Group Design Manager, Eugen understands the importance of effective communication and values and encourages input from clients, stakeholders, and end users during design development and ensures the design team goals align with client requirements.

Our Estimating Team is led by David Nadin, who brings more than 20 years of cost planning and estimating experience.

A long-term FKG Group employee, Dave sees the mutual benefits in maintaining long-standing relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure the best possible project costings, whether it is an ECI, Managing Contractor, Design and Construct or Hard Dollar contracts.

Dave empowers his Estimating Team to own the tender and work closely with our design and delivery teams to deliver value solutions. Using our extensive subcontractor database of over 11,000 companies, Dave and the estimating team work together with our local supply chain to obtain realistic, competitive, and comprehensive prices.

With nearly two decades of working in construction industry in both project delivery and pre-contracts, Andy uses his well-rounded experience to connect with clients, superintendents, and industry partners to deliver mutually beneficial opportunities.

Identifying alignment in values with clients and managing a pipeline of projects where FKG can provide a genuine point of difference ensures our clients are afforded the best construction solutions to their project delivery needs.

Andy is actively involved in leading local industry forums to better engage with our supplier and subcontractors and is also part of our Reconciliation Action Plan, providing both employment and direct contracting opportunities where possible.

Having joined the FKG Group straight out of University, Sonja has grown with the company over the past 10 years to lead Construction’s Finance Department.

Consistently displaying sound application to exemplar financial and accounting principles, Sonja ensures our financial reporting, project cashflow, and subcontractor payments are beyond reproach.

Sonja appreciates the need for due diligence and readily demonstrates to clients the company’s strong financial position and stable viability, providing confidence in the strength of the business and our ability to meet financial commitments and deliver our clients projects completely.

Having worked in Construction for nearly 30 years in Australia, the UK and South Africa, Munro brings boots on the ground experience that shapes our systems and planning strategies.

With a focus on systems and procedures that enhance project efficiencies and improve client reporting, Munro is dedicated to investigating and implementing considered enhancements to our Integrated Management Systems and knowledge databases.

He regularly works with our project teams to review systems and planning outcomes to promote safer processes and procedures through which higher quality outcomes are achieved and manages our library of lessons learned to champion continuous improvement across all our projects.

Kyle is an experienced lawyer with over 20 years advising the building and construction industry. Prior to joining the FKG Group, Kyle was in private practice acting in matters arising from all areas within the industry, including the construction of buildings, civil works contracts and complex engineering works.

Kyle provides focused and strategic advice across the lifecycle of a project through procurement, project support and claim management. He also has extensive experience with contractual drafting and negotiation including in leading complex, high-value engagements.

Kyle is also a registered adjudicator under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (Qld) and Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW).
