Rob originally joined the FKG Group in 2006. With a career spanning over 20 years’ in the civil construction industry, Rob is an accomplished and knowledgeable engineer. His civil background spans across various disciplines including bulk earthworks, pavements, services and concrete structures.

As Group Manager – Civil, Rob leads the development and delivery of our Civil business throughout Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory. His role also includes the development and implementation of the team’s business plan, conversion of opportunities, and ensuring our project are successfully delivered.

Dan has excellent engineering and management skills with an exceptional ability to solve problems and bring even the most difficult project in on time and on budget. His career is distinguished by projects consistently meeting or improving target timelines and budgets, and exceeding clients’ expectations.

He has concurrently led large and complex bids and is very skilled at balancing his commercial acumen and technical expertise to deliver exceptional value for clients He is focused on ensuring the delivery team is supported for success and actively engage in the lifecycle from Precontracts to delivery to ensure continual improvement is achieved.

Paul is a highly experienced, professional Operations Manager and Civil Engineer, with over 23 years’ of experience, currently overseeing a range of projects within the Civil Division. Paul’s knowledge spans several industry sectors, including transport infrastructure, oil and gas, water, rail, renewables, urban development, and mining in the United Kingdom and Australia.

With a proven track record of delivering complex and diverse projects under several contract frameworks, Paul has demonstrated consistent financial performance, meeting and exceeding programme targets, systems and safety performance, client and stakeholder satisfaction and repeat work for key clients.

With over 20 years’ industry experience, James is a professional Operations Manager and Registered Professional Engineer. James has an extensive track record successfully delivering and managing complex and diverse projects within the Civil Division, including a range of sectors including roads, structures, bridges, Defence, mining, energy and resources throughout Queensland and New South Wales for public and private clients.

James is responsible for providing overall leadership, management and guidance to the various engineering divisions and project delivery teams, management of resources whilst maintaining and developing client relationship.

Simon brings over 13 years’ experience and a robust technical understanding to his role as Construction Manager within the Civil Division. His background as a Registered Professional Engineer, has seen him manage complex projects across the transport, mining, energy and resource sectors throughout Queensland. His high level of organisational skills is demonstrated by his ability to prioritise significant workloads. Simon’s professional approach, coupled with his technical knowledge, is an attribute to any job he undertakes.

His project expertise enables him to critically assess risks and opportunities in a live project environment and establish best-for-project solutions without compromising safety, quality, budget or programme elements.

Brock is a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with over 13 years’ experience in the Civil Construction Industry. Brock has successfully delivered projects across several sectors including the Transport, Resources, Utilities, Defence, Energy and Private Sectors. With a strong technical skillset, diverse range of experience, focus on practical solutions and proven track record, Brock brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role of Construction Manager.

Brock is leader that focuses on motivating and inspiring teams to achieve exceptional results. He leads by example and fosters a positive work culture that encourages communication, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. His background in Civil and Structural Engineering, advanced technical abilities, emphasis on health safety and environment, focus on professional relationships and personable approach makes Brock an invaluable member of the FKG Group’s Civil team.

As a Quality and Systems Manager with over 10 years’ experience in the civil and construction industry, Lily brings her international engineering knowledge to provide support to site staff, project teams and other corporate staff to ensure all projects are executed in accordance with the contractual requirements and within the FKG’s Quality and Integrated Management System (IMS) framework.

Being proactive in leading change, delivering and reviewing the FKG’s quality awareness system, Lily ensures compliance with internal and external regulations.  Her experience of working both for client bodies and contractors has equipped her to take a measured and balanced approach to engineering and quality requirements and challenges presented.

Dan is a safety professional with exceptional skills in HSE, risk management, and auditing across the civil construction, mining, energy, transport, logistics, and manufacturing industries.  Dan has a proven track record in effectively implementing, managing, and reporting on integrated management systems complying with AS4801, ISO90001, ISO31000, ISO14001, and Federal and Safety (OFSC) to ensure they align to safe operations and enhanced business performance.

Working on numerous, large scale projects, Dan has a robust knowledge of safety procedures in demanding working environments, particularly on road construction jobs where he has experience working to TMR and RMS specifications.

Dan effectively leads teams with professional and respectful interpersonal skills, ensuring plant and people interaction, traffic coordination and underground and overhead services are managed to safety compliance. He is proactive in enhancing the attitudes and culture of workers on site with a focus on building strong working relationships.
