Building Blocks is the FKG Group’s very own, in-house registered early learning centre, providing an interactive and supportive learning environment for up to 25 children. Located at our head office in Toowoomba, Building Blocks prides itself on modern, exclusive-use facilities and our high-quality, safe and caring environment for the children of our employees.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and passionate Part-Time and Casual Educators to join our dedicated team. These roles are ideally suited to an early childhood professionals who are committed to creating engaging learning experiences for children and building positive relationships with families and colleagues.

As a Educator, you will:

• Support the planning and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
• Work collaboratively with the educational team to deliver high-quality care and educational programs.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, centre policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of a positive and supportive centre culture.

To be successful in this role, applicants will demonstrate:

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), or be actively working towards a qualification.
• Current Blue Card
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Current Foundation Child Safety Training
• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Experience working in an early childhood education and care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Reliability, professionalism and a strong commitment to quality care practices.
• High levels of organisation, teamwork and attention to detail.
