IT Support Officer

An exciting and unique opportunity currently exists in our Brisbane office for an energetic and professional IT Support Officer to join our growing, enthusiastic team and assist with our helpdesk enquiries for our job site and office-based employees.

The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure and have a positive can-do attitude with the technical know-how to assist and maintain our existing system.

The role will work within our helpdesk system,  supporting and troubleshooting a range of technologies, and providing general assistance to senior IT team members to complete exciting technology projects and business-as-usual activities.

To be successful, candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide technical support to laymen users in-person and remotely.

• Passion for technology with the desire to learn about a range of hardware and software, you will learn how to deploy hardware and software and help manage our growing application suite.

• The ability to support through technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, organisational skills, and professionalism.

• Ideally 2 years’ experience in a similar role

• The ability to be a fast learner, with the desire to learn from Network, Infrastructure, and Application Developers to gain a broad understanding of the technology stack.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise activities and resources on multiple tasks and projects working in parallel

• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to Office 365 is preferable

Tertiary or vocational qualifications in IT would be highly regarded, though they are not essential.
