AUSCOIL Workshop

Since commencing operations in 2015, FKG Group Partner, AUSCOIL, has gone from strength to strength. Due to continued growth, the business identified a need for a larger facility to meet their business requirements and the FKG Group was engaged to develop, design and construct a custom-built office and workshop facility in Charlton, Toowoomba.

As part of the project, the FKG Group Property Development team negotiated a lease deal arrangement with AUSCOIL and develop the required facility on land that was owned by the FKG Group. The team also worked closely with the AUSCOIL team to design the facility and completed all stages of the development lifecycle including feasibility studies, DA approvals and design documentation.

Construction of the 1,700sqm facility was also completed by the FKG Group and the completed project comprises of a tilt-panel workshop, reception area, boardroom, two lunchrooms, amenities, caretaker’s living quarters and laundry. The workshop features a service pit, welding area, wash-bay, mezzanine storage area, and a 5t overhead gantry crane.

Delivery of the hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, fire and security services was also included in the project scope, as well as workshop and office fit out, 2,800m2 of heavy-duty hardstand, car parking, four driveway crossovers and hard and soft landscaping.
