BAC Sugarmill Road

The FKG Group was engaged by Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) to complete the design and construction of a warehouse facility and adjoining commercial office facilities.

The project was inclusive of 10,000m² of warehouse space incorporating recessed loading docks, an 800m² office space, 150m² dispatch office, 12,000m² of external hardstand with truck and car parking, and a 5,000m² subgrade area, graded and covered with topsoil and hydromulch, ready for future expansion.

The Brisbane Airport Corporation has high standards and strict requirements regarding the design aspect of their projects, due to their close proximity to the airport. The FKG Group design team were able to work within these requirements to produce design documentation to fulfil requirements for drawings, surveys, and operation and maintenance manuals, while also meeting the requirements of future tenants.
