The FKG Group was engaged by the Department of Education and Ridgemill Pty Ltd to construct a new three storey building within the existing Cleveland District State High School.
The project scope included the construction of a new dance studio with pulastic cushioned flooring, staff room and general learning areas. The team also delivered over 4000m2 of external landscaping works including a new sheltered sandstone amphitheatre and artificial turf futsal courts, handball and volleyball courts.
Working within an operational school environment, the team implemented stringent safety management procedures and scheduled work to minimise disruption to staff and students.
The project saw a total of 60 hardworking crew on site resulting in an early delivery, five months ahead of schedule and on budget.
