Following the heavy rainfall events of early 2013, the FKG Group was engaged to undertake the repair and upgrade of a 2.5km section of flood-damaged pavement on Gatton Esk road between the Warrego Highway and Esk in the Lockyer Valley. The main component of the project was the widening, overlay and sealing of existing pavement. It also included construction of a temporary side track, water main relocation, new kerb construction, drainage works, culvert works and installation of road lighting.
