FKG was engaged by Tipalea Partners Rural Pty Ltd (trading as Grassdale Feedlot Unit Trust) to design and construct Stage 1 of a facility developing new technology to produce organic fertiliser from feedlot-generated manure.
The scope included civil platform works, concrete foundations and slabs, a truck turning apron, and the supply and installation of a purpose-built structural steel-framed and metal-clad production and storage facility. A modular office and amenities building was also established adjacent to the processing plant.
Delivered within an operational environment, the project required careful planning and coordination. Specialised plant and associated services were installed to support the facility’s function. FKG negotiated the design and construct delivery process and adapted to site conditions and stakeholder needs throughout. The project reflects a commitment to innovation in agricultural waste management and supports future opportunities through strong local engagement and collaborative delivery.
