The Department of Defence required remediation works to the Defence Fuel Installation (DFI) facilities and engaged the FKG Group to undertake the project. Works consisted of miscellaneous mechanical, electrical, civil and environmental activities at the existing facility to meet current Defence standards.
The design and construct project involved work across three separate sites; RAAF Base Townsville, Lavarack Barracks Townsville and HMAS Cairns.
