Origin Energy Pilot Ponds
Origin Energy engaged the FKG Group to carry out the construction of three large water-storage ponds as part of their Coal Seam Gas Pilot Ponds project. The initial two were the Gilbert Gully (Cecil Plains) and Waar Waar (Millmerran) pilot ponds which required a collective 75,000m³ of earth to be excavated. Both jobs required additional installation of subsoil drainage filters, stock fencing and roadways around the dam walls.
