Slope Restoration Works

The FKG Civil Team have recently completed slope rehabilitation works in Paluma, North QLD.

This project was structured across three sites; Culvert 161, Twin Falls and Windy Corner. The scope included soil nailing, shotcrete erosion matting and drystone wall reconstruction.

Access to the site was limited, as it was located within the Wet Tropics and nestled between heritage listed structures. The team also needed to carefully manoeuvre both plant and personnel via a tight 4m wide road and then use access roads to complete the project. All works were delivered at night and on a 7-day roster.
