Toowoomba Hospital Switchboard and Chiller Upgrades
The FKG Group was engaged to perform major switchboard and chiller upgrades of the Toowoomba Base Public Hospital.
Works were completed in an operational environment in two separable portions; the first portion included the chiller upgrade, comprising the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of the mechanical services, while the second portion comprised of the major switchboard upgrade.
The switchboard upgrade included replacement of the existing Building Energy Management Services (BEMS) main switchboard, new BEMS main switchroom and the Medical Block main switchboard.
Working in an operational environment, the FKG Group team worked closely with service partner NRG Services and hospital staff to ensure minimal impact to operations.
