BP College View

FKG was engaged through a collaborative ECI process for the design and construction of a new BP Service Station in College View. The project involved demolition of the existing control building, canopy, fuel system, and pavements, followed by remediation of contaminated soils and construction of new infrastructure, including an expanded pavement area. Scope additions included sewer line replacement, roof replacement, MSB upgrade, subgrade replacement, FF&E layout changes, and an extension to Villis Road.

A significant flood event in February 2022 impacted progress, prompting mitigation strategies that reduced delays from subsequent rain. FKG coordinated closely with McDonalds during their redesign and fit-out, adjusting in-ground works and access routes to support concurrent activities. Material lifts were scheduled in early mornings using a neighbouring carpark to avoid disruption. Despite weather challenges and scope changes, the project was delivered on time, enabling BP to commence trading ahead of the holiday period.
