FKG was engaged for the design and construction of major modifications to the BP Stapylton Highway Service Centre. The scope included full internal and external refurbishment of the service centre, replacement of the fuel tank farm and systems, concrete subgrade works, stormwater relining, and minor landscaping.

Value management led to the adoption of slab-on-ground pavement over piling, improving programme efficiency and budget flexibility. Works were delivered adjacent to an operational travel centre, requiring careful coordination and safety management. Despite inclement weather delays, FKG re-sequenced works to prioritise travel centre refurbishment and fuel system installation, achieving early handover by Easter 2024.

Structural repairs, branding upgrades, and canopy modifications were completed to a high standard. The project was delivered within budget and ahead of schedule.
