FKG was engaged by Health Infrastructure NSW for the design and construction of the new Kingscliff Ambulance Station. The scope included seven internal ambulance bays, wash bay, staff parking, administration and storage areas, amenities, sleep pods, education room, and gym module.

Works were staged across two milestones, including a link road to the Tweed Valley Hospital. Protection of a culturally significant dry-stone wall along Turnock Street was a key challenge, resolved through coordinated design and site establishment. Limited site access and shared hospital infrastructure required careful planning and stakeholder engagement.

Construction innovations included conveyor backfilling and scaffold bin chutes to manage constrained access. Real-time design collaboration with NSW Ambulance and HINSW ensured fit-for-purpose outcomes. The project was delivered ahead of the adjusted completion date, achieving high safety and quality standards.
