The FKG Group was engaged by the Port of Brisbane and Johnstaff Projects to undertake the latest expansion to their existing tenant Mondiale VGL’s operations.
The works were delivered through an ECI Design & Construct contract and required extensive liaison with the tenant and Port of Brisbane to undertake the works without disrupting surrounding businesses.
The expansion included 12,000m2 of heavy-duty container hardstand pavements, 2,000m2 of medium/light duty pavement for vehicle parking, a two-storey transport office building and staff recreational area, AQIS-approved perimeter fencing and landscaping, and parking and loading areas.
