The project involved the Design and Construction of a new National Storage Facility and BP Service Station. The project commenced as an ECI agreement with the FKG Group developing the design from the very beginning and coordinating all council and authority approvals.

The National Storage part of the works was a 4-storey storage facility on the north side of the site, with the BP service station to the south, fronting Ipswich Road. The total area of the site is approximately 7,266m2. The works were performed adjacent to a Queensland Rail Corridor, with some works needing to be performed in a QR Exclusion Zone/Danger Zone, adding a layer of difficulty to the project.

The FKG Group has contributed several successful project outcomes to the National Storage portfolio and has consistently demonstrated significant value add contributions in both traditional and ECI delivery structures. Their teams’ experience in dealing with project stakeholders, both internal and external consistently contributes to the success of our projects.  The past performance and forward commitment demonstrated through a number of challenging projects and prospective opportunities holds FKG in high regard as a valued contractor.
