The FKG Group was engaged to deliver the Main Works for the new Caboolture PCYC following completion of an Early Works package. The project involved constructing a new facility comprising a gym, gymnastics and functional fitness areas, multi-purpose spaces, outdoor basketball court, car parking, landscaping, and the relocation of an existing bus stop. Located adjacent to the operational police station and residential areas, the site presented unique logistical and stakeholder coordination requirements. Key challenges included managing complex ground conditions, coordinating with Energex for light pole relocation, and mitigating impacts to the adjacent QPS facility.
