The Village Manly
FKG is constructing the first two stages of a multi-unit retirement living development in Manly for the Village Retirement Group, following an ECI phase that informed buildability and cost planning. Stage 1 includes Building 6, basement carparking, partial refurbishment of heritage-listed Lota House, and initial community facilities. Stage 2 delivers Building 5 and leisure amenities. The site’s heritage status and proximity to residential areas required careful planning to maintain chapel access, protect vegetation, and ensure uninterrupted aged care operations. Construction is phased to minimise disruption, with separate access points and early handover of key facilities.
