Toowoomba Grammar School Junior Boarding House

The FKG Group delivered the construction of a new 48 bed, two storey brick and tile roof extension to the previously existing building. Works included construction of a new reception, common rooms, kitchen facilities, basement storage and extensive landscaping.

Throughout construction, a heavy focus was placed on minimising disruption to school facilities, which were heavily occupied during the expansion. The FKG Group delivered the project in stages resulting in completion ahead of schedule. Constant communication and a flexible, collaborative approach between site teams and school staff ensured construction and school activities were not interrupted and both site personnel and students were kept safe.
