William Ross State High School Multipurpose Hall
FKG has been engaged by the Department of Education and Jacobs to construct a new Multipurpose Hall at William Ross State High School. Located in the north-west corner of the operational campus, the project includes site demolition, bulk earthworks, carpark extension, and construction of a hall featuring gym and kinesiology spaces, change rooms, staff offices, kitchen and kiosk, stage facilities, and associated amenities.
FKG will manage construction with minimal disruption to school operations by staging major works during holidays and coordinating access via a temporary slip road. Key challenges include maintaining safety within an active school environment, managing shared access routes, and coordinating service connections outside school hours.
