Long-serving staff honoured at Years of Service event

“Performance beyond expectation” is FKG Group’s motto and our people are crucial to delivering such success. In recognition of our loyal staff, on the evening of Saturday, 17th February, Gary and Melissa Gardner were delighted to host the company’s first “Years of Service” (YOS) event for staff who have achieved 10 years’ plus service, at their home in Toowoomba.
The first such YOS event, the evening was a chance for the Gardner family to thank long-serving staff for their contribution to the success of the FKG Group. With more than 120 people in attendance, 48 awards of service were handed out, including 12 for employees with more than 20 years’ service.
“Our staff are our family. We are extremely grateful of their continued support, through the good times and the tough times, and the excellent attendance tonight reflects their commitment to our company,” said FKG Group’s Executive Chairman, Gary Gardner.
“It is this culture of appreciating our people and making them at the centre of our values and operations that makes FKG Group what it is.”
Guests were treated to gourmet food from local chef Rick Osbourne and his team and music from a local entertainer Pepper, while enjoying the magnificent views from the Gardners’ beautifully manicured gardens. With all long serving staff receiving a certificate of service and gift, there were smiles all round as employees reminisced on old times and how far the FKG Group has come in such a short period.
With the event an instant hit with FKG Group’s staff, more YOS celebrations are planned as we continue to honour the hard work and dedication of our passionate team.
