QPS Ripley Police Station

The FKG Group was engaged to deliver a new purpose-built District Police Headquarters at Ripley for the Queensland Police Service. The facility included a two-storey police station with holding cells, laboratories, strong rooms, and secure evidence storage areas, supported by extensive external works such as carparking, footpaths, and landscaping.

Constructed on a vacant site, the project involved early civil works through significant in-ground rock. FKG also needed to successfully manage a tight program, complex security and services integration, and compliance with Class 2 NATA accreditation for laboratory spaces. Shared access with an adjacent project, limited site space, and the need for temporary infrastructure solutions added further complexity.
