The FKG Group constructed a new two-storey, 3,500m² police facility in Townsville for the Department of Energy and Public Works, forming part of a future Queensland Police Service precinct. The scope included civil works, carparks, concrete structure, blockwork with brick veneer, and architectural finishes, along with a 24/7 non-urgent contact centre and relocation of district support functions.

Key challenges included maintaining program efficiency, coordinating stakeholder engagement across the high-profile government project, and minimising disruption to surrounding community operations.
